The Freeholds are a federation collection of 7 kingdoms assembled into the country of Alatheia. Much like Temethil, each aids one another in not only defense but services. Unlike Temethil however, there is no common law between the kingdoms and there has never been a king. Each of The Freeholds practices extreme conservatism, believing each kingdom should act independant from greater power. They believe this keeps kingdoms in check by not allowing anyone to gain too much power.
